QUALIDADE DE VIDA NO TRABALHO SOB A ÓTICA DOS TRABALHADORES

Resumo: A temática Qualidade de Vida no Trabalho (QVT) está nas agendas das organizações públicas e privadas. Cada vez mais, dirigentes, gestores e técnicos se interessam em promover a QVT em face das conseqüências negativas produzidas pela reestruturação produtiva. Nesta entrevista, o Prof. Dr. Mário César Ferreira, especialista no assunto, fornece uma visão panorâmica da QVT. Ele argumenta sobre a importância da produtividade saudável, os limites da abordagem hegemônica de QVT de viés assistencialista e apresenta os traços de uma abordagem centrada no olhar dos trabalhadores.

Abstract: Quality of Life at Work (QLW) is, today, part of the agenda of state and private organizations. CEOs, managers and technical staff are increasingly interested to focus on QLW due to the negative consequences of productive restructuring. During the interview, Professor Dr. Mario Cesar Ferreira, an expert on QLW, provides us with a panoramic vision of the matter. The Professor discusses not only about the importance of a healthy productivity, the limitations of the hegemonic approach to QLW, with an assistencialist bias, but also introduces a worker centered view based on their own eyes.
