Abstract

This study aimed to characterize the profile of mandatory reported cases of burnout in the banking sector using SINAN data from 2020 to 2024. Descriptive statistics and chi-square association tests were performed using R and RStudio, exploring associations between gender, lifestyle and health habits, occupational variables, and mental disorders. Findings indicated that 25.4% of reported cases were classified as occupational burnout. Female bank employees accounted for more burnout notifications in all years analyzed and had 1.3 times greater odds of developing burnout compared to men.
