Abstract

The study aimed to analyze the National Policy on Workers’ Health (PNSTT) in the light of Ergology, taking into account the political and social aspects that cross the experiences of professionals at the Reference Centers for Workers’ Health (Cerest). This is a qualitative research, with seven semi-structured interviews conducted with professionals from different Cerests in Paraíba. From the interviews, a gap was noted between the prescribed and the real regarding the PNSTT and the difficulties faced by worker-professionals at Cerests. There is an urgent need to improve the PNSTT in several aspects.
