APP DELIVERY MEN AND WOMEN: NARRATIVE REVIEW OF THE LITERATURE

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the scientific production of articles about the work of delivery workers for apps, seeking to contextualize the emergence of platform work and how it is presented in Brazil. To this end, a two-stage review of the literature was conducted, covering Brazilian literature published over a specific time period. Based on the materials found, it was possible to measure the influence of the pandemic in accelerating the process of uberization of work, in addition to demonstrating the precarious working conditions these workers face.
