Abstract

This article describes an education intervention about Food Education developed in a Public High School in Aceguá, RS, Brazil. The work took four months, involving several disciplines that resulted in a meeting with presentation of lectures, offering cooking classes and projects developed by students for two days in the school. The work has achieved the goals that were to stimulate the curriculum integration, to contextualize its contents with food theme and to promote the socialization of the school with the community about concepts of nutrition and food education.
