INTERDISCIPLINARY ACTIVITIES IN HEALTH: STUDENT’S KNOWLEDGE FROM LIFE EXPERIENCES

The interdisciplinary actions extension project of Health Care in San Antonio Neighborhood - Lajeado / RS aims to create opportunities to experience for the training of professionals based on the principles of health care comprehensiveness and interdisciplinarity. Participating teachers and students of the health UNIVATES courses. The present research sought to verify the students' perception of the impact of the project on their academic education, considering the influence of interdisciplinary practices, their relationship in health care and the importance of the relationship theory and practice experienced in the project. The study, characterized as qualitative and descriptive, was attended by 19 volunteer students who answered a questionnaire, whose open questions referred to the concept of interdisciplinarity, the influence of the relation theory and practice in the academic formation and the students' understanding of the repercussion of interdisciplinary actions in health care. From the analysis of the answers, it is observed that the students value interdisciplinary activities that approach theory and practice from the beginning of the formation, as well as, recognize the importance of articulated actions between the teaching, the service and the community in the planning and the care in health.
