Academic tutoring and problematization methodology: experience report

Tutoring is a facilitating tool for the development of learning. It enables better correlation between theory and practice, strengthening the construction of knowledge and favoring the creation of an atmosphere where the student can create, ask questions, practice and review contents and processes. This paper aims at reporting the experience of student-monitors at nursing for the development of Integrated Activities in Health in Nursing course at a public university in the Amazon, Brazil. This is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach by experience report approach and was developed from the experience of four tutors from a Nursing course and two professors from February 2014 to December 2015. During this period, a large number of experiences made up the teaching-learning process, attesting the relevance of the tutors in the effectiveness and flowing of all learning stages. The role of the mentors was fundamental for the experience acquired by students. Their guidance was crucial during the phases of the whole process conducted by the Arch of Maguerez methodologies.Downloads
